Environmental Field Technician (Madrid, 1965)
One of the most knowledgeable ornithologists in Spain about neotropical avifauna.
Eduardo has been fascinated by birds since he was a child. His first trip to the Neotropics (to Venezuela in 1985) left an indebile impression on him. As a result, he later travelled to many other Latin American countries: Peru, Ecuador (also the Galapagos), Argentina; Mexico, El Salvador, Panama and especially Costa Rica, a country which hooked him and where he settled down for five years and became an authority on the country’s birds.
He is also well-known for his bird migration studies on the Cabrera peninsula, and has been a member of SEO and GOB since 1980.
