Biologist and Bird ringer


Marc has spent more than 20 years in the bird world, working on biological studies as well as carrying out conservation projects for threatened species. His work has taken him around the world oberving birds.

Amongst other things, he has co-ordinated and worked on projects like the re-introduction of Eurasian Black Vulture in the Pyrenees, the conservation of Lesser Grey Shrike in Spain and the Catalonian Peregrine census. He has travelled to over 25 countries worldwide and has seen over 2000 species. At the moment he lives in Extremadura, Spain where he is working as a bird tour guide. He also knows his native Catalonia like the back of his hand!
